Kangaroos Shoot Back At Delta Force Paintball

September 13, 2013 by Delta Force Paintball Australia

If the North Melbourne Football Club boys thought 100 mins of Australian Rules Football was a tough but fun day out, they gained a whole new perspective today when they fronted up to the Delta Force Paintball centre at Dingley near Melbourne.

The fourth oldest Australian rules football club in the Australian Football League (AFL) and one of the oldest sporting clubs in Australia and the world, they may well be, but when they arrived for the challenges set for their end of year break up celebrations. The historic club faced the world’s largest and most professional paintball facilities with some 37 centres worldwide, 24 years of experience and over five million players already having enjoyed the unique game play Delta Force Paintball offers its customers.

The day was a huge success with players commenting on the service and the facilities. “Best day ever! Will definitely be back!” said an extremely enthusiastic Jack Ziebell. He went on to say, “Riot shields are just like in Call Of Duty … wish my trigger finger was faster!”

North Melbourne Kangaroos AFL

The North Melbourne Kangaroos stormed the amazing combat zones of the Dingley location with gusto as the team at Delta Force Paintball put them through a full day of team building scenarios on playing fields featuring movie set quality props and buildings. Team solidarity was surely strengthened as they learned to protect each other and work closely together forming and implementing strategies as they breached the Pyramids at Tomb Raider, defended the aircraft at Checkpoint Charlie and rustled up some trouble at Dodge City. The guys were thoroughly impressed with the mixture of real military hardware, high quality movie style props and buildings on the fields of play.

ACT Meteors in Canberra for a Bonding Session at Delta Force Paintball

August 28, 2013 by Delta Force Paintball Australia

Trading their cricket bats for paintball guns, the ACT Meteors bonding camp training placed the team in an army style environment with the world’s largest and leading paintball company, Delta Force Paintball. Two months out from the first Women’s National Cricket League game, the Meteors were pushed to their limits as they braved the winter conditions of Canberra in a series of tasks designed to make them a more cohesive group.

Upon arrival, the girls were a bit apprehensive about what to expect and they were set off on a five kilometre hike to find camp, with only having a tarpaulin for shelter.  They were together for 16 hours overnight and were issued with set tasks to complete, with team building skills and leadership high on the agenda.

Coach Andrew Dawson said the bonding trip, under the guidance of SAS sniper Rob Maylor, was the perfect way to start the Meteors’ year, and the highly professional Delta Force Paintball operation proved to be the ideal resource for the job at hand.
