The Paintball scene in Brisbane will never be the same with the opening of the much anticipated Delta Force Paintball – Petrie on Saturday. This $1m development includes amazing game scenarios including the world’s only full-scale Blackhawk helicopter.

“The maps are like nothing I’ve seen before in Paintball” said Lee Jay, an eager participant at the Grand Opening. Many players were blown away by the shear size and scale of this new facility and the professionalism shown by the Delta Force staff.

The lucky players on Grand Opening day were also treated to some “energy” from the RedBull Wings Team. Angela and Alexis from RedBull were fantastic and well received by all the players.

MiniBall For The Younger Generation – 10 years And Older!

Calling all adventure enthusiasts aged 10 – 17 years – the paintball revolution has arrived at Delta Force! What was once exclusively reserved for paintball warriors of mature age has officially changed – as of Saturday 4th May paintballers as young as 10 years can enjoy a day of outdoor adventure with Australia’s favourite and trusted paintball provider.

Delta Force Paintball is set to launch MiniBall, the latest initiative in the paintball industry that incorporates custom-designed pump action paintball guns and smaller paintballing equipment that is suitable for 10-17 year olds. Delta Force Paintball centres will be the first in Australia to host MiniBall events and over the coming months, Delta Force Paintball will endeavour to ensure all its Australia centres are fully equipped to run MiniBall games.

The 17m Blackhawk Helicopter Full Scale Replica was shipped to the soon-to-open Brisbane Paintball Theme Park and has received lotsif interest from the media and Paintball players alike.

Blackhawk Turns Heads As It Travels Through Brisbane CBD

After making the trek from Newcastle to Brisbane, we caught up with the recently-famous Blackhawk Helicopter from Delta Force Paintball.

It was a popular sight parked alongside the Gateway Motorway and was very popular along Kingsford Smith Drive as drivers snapped on their I-phones and people waiting at the bus stops marvelled at the sheer size of this machine! Several radio stations had call-ins from people in peak hour traffic sitting behind the prime mover carrying the new addition to Delta Force Paintball – Petrie.

Full Scale Blackhawk – World First and Heading for Delta Force Paintball in Brisbane

Delta Force Paintball is Australia’s largest Paintball company, with venues in all Australian capital cities. This new addition to the soon-to-open Paintball Theme Park in Brisbane, cost in excess of $60,000 and will be the signature piece of the facility. The Blackhawk Helicopter measures 18m in length and has a 16m rotor span. The chopper weighs just over 2 tonnes completely assembled and it can comfortably fit up to 15 paintball-ready troops!

The  UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter earned its reputation during the Gulf War. A powerful war machine  that epitomises modern military mobility, the Blackhawk has become the stalwart of many armies due to dramatic improvements in troop capacity and cargo lift capability, The Australian Army operates Blackhawk helicopters for both wartime and civil operations.

This amazing prop will be passing through the inner suburbs of Brisbane around 9am on the morning of Wednesday 20th March 2013. It will surely be a sight to behold as it crosses the Gateway, Storey and Captain Cook bridges.
