A Delta Force Thank You To Our Brave RFS Firefighters

It takes a brave soul to face the searing onslaught of any bush fire. Those of us living or working in affected areas of NSW owe a debt of gratitude to the amazing people who make up the Rural Fire Service and their affiliates. As wild fires ripped through our towns and suburbs engulfing lives, livelihoods and treasured possessions, special people, many of whom are volunteers, were placing themselves in the path of the inferno and ever present threat to protect others. To protect us.

How does a community adequately thank such selfless people? We wish we knew.

Delta Force Paintball sincerely wants to offer something to these incredible people to show them we appreciate all they have done. Our way to offer thanks is through a RFS PLAYS FREE SESSION at Delta Force Paintball Appin (just 60 mins from the Sydney CBD) where we dearly want the NSW Rural Fire Brigade members and their families to come and enjoy a day of fun ON US!

Not only will NSW RFS members and their families receive free entry and equipment hire, but we’ll supply them with enough paintballs to ensure their day with us is one that helps them forget the long days and nights they have spent in service to others over the past few weeks. The RFS PLAYS FREE SESSION will be Sunday 10thNovember from 9:00am. We’ll also be giving away special prizes and fundraising vouchers to RFS members on the day.

Paintballing laws throughout Australia vary from state to state, with many supporters of the sport calling for a uniform set of rules and regulations to be applied throughout the country.

The police in each state control paintballing in Australia, and as such the minimum legal age of players is not consistent across the nation. The minimum ages to play paintball is 18 years in Victoria (Delta Force Dingley), 16 years in New South Wales (Delta Force Appin) and 12 years in Western Australia (Delta Force Muchea and Delta Force Bonneys).

Delta Force supports the standardisation of the minimum paintballing age, which would open the sport to a wider market where people can have a fun day out with their family and friends in a safe and controlled environment.
