Congratulations to our Halloween winner!

Thanks to everyone who went to such a great effort in dressing up for their Halloween Delta Force Paintball event on Sunday the 31st of October. There were a lot of great (and scary) costumes, which provided for an entertaining day of paintball action.

The winner of our best-dressed team competition, from the Delta Force centre in Appin, is Adriana Doueihy. Congratulations, you’ve won a paintball experience for you and 10 friends worth a massive $1000!

Adriana and her group spared no expense on their costumes, which included a few witches, a scarecrow and a mummy, who would have been right at home on our Tomb Raider field.

  • The latest semi-automatic paintball machine gun
  • Full head protection goggle system with anti fog lenses. These goggles not only protect your eyes, but they also protect the top and back of your head from a potentially painful sniper shot
  • Full length SAS-style camouflage combat suit to protect your civilian clothing from the rigours of battle. The combat suits also have padded collars, offering protection to your neck
  • Custom-designed body armour to protect your upper torso
  • A hip-mounted 400-shot capacity battlepack to ensure you never run out of ammo in the heat of battle

Ian ‘Dicko’ Dickson recently played paintball at a non Delta Force paintball site. When interviewed after the game, his first comment was that it is “very painful on the head”. The site that Dicko played at uses half head protection goggles, which merely cover your eyes, ears and mouth.

Some of our competitors have not yet made the leap to the full head protection goggles, primarily due to the costs involved in offering the safer headwear.
